Sometimes, it’s difficult to organize all of your organization’s information into perfect categories. Between conference room names that seem to change every few months to what kind of laptops are being used at the office, keeping track of everything can be a hassle. Today, we’re announcing Configuration items – a lightweight CMDB (configuration management database) that enables agents to store arbitrary and reusable data at the org level. With this feature, users can create a configuration item to answer similar request types without having to type out the same responses over and over again.
With Configuration Items, Team Admins and Super Admins in atSpoke will be able to store and customize arbitrary information for use in Requests, thereby reducing manual copy & pasting for better team efficiency. Users can create a configuration list to answer similar request types without having to type out the same responses over and over again. Items can be created directly in atSpoke or automatically synced from a third-party application like Okta or Google Cloud.
Did you know it’s possible to create a new list from your organization’s settings page? Simply navigate to your organization’s settings, select the Requests tab, and click Configuration items. Now whenever Team Admins or Agents are working on similar requests, they’ll be able to select and apply the Configuration list that’s most relevant. It’s important to note that only Team Admins & Super Admins can add, remove, or change Configurations lists, but Team Agents are welcome to use any Configuration lists in Requests.
